Ingredients
3.4
ounces
instant vanilla pudding mix
1
cup
milk
8
ounces
Cool Whip
thawed
6
medium-large Granny Smith
or Pippin apples
6
full-size Snickers candy bars
caramel sauce
optional garnish
lemon juice
for preventing apples from browning (optional)
Instructions
Empty the vanilla pudding mix into a large mixing bowl.
Pour in 1 cup of milk and whisk until the pudding thickens.
Fold the whipped topping into the pudding until fully combined, then set aside.
Cut the apples and Snickers bars into bite-sized pieces, reserving a small portion of each for garnish.
Add the chopped apples and candy pieces to the pudding mixture and gently stir to combine.
Drizzle 1 to 2 teaspoons of lemon juice over the reserved apple pieces to help prevent browning.
Spoon the mixture into a serving bowl and top with the reserved apples and Snickers pieces. Drizzle with caramel sauce if desired.
Notes
Choose tart, crisp apples like Granny Smith to balance the sweetness of the salad.
Stir the mixture gently so the chocolate pieces hold their shape and don’t break down too much.
If you’d like extra crunch, sprinkle a handful of peanuts over the top before serving.
