Easy Baked Turkey Tenders on Plate
These simple, baked homemade turkey tenders are spices and Parmesan coated turkey breast strips that are baked before served with your favorite dipping sauce.

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted
  • Grated zest and juice of one lemon
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 2 ½ pounds turkey tenders or 2 to 3 pound turkey breast, plain or oven-ready
  • 1 cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 cup fresh grated parmesan cheese
  • Cooking oil spray olive oil is best


  • In a large bowl whisk together the egg, olive oil, melted butter, lemon juice, lemon zest, parsley, salt, pepper and garlic.
  • Add the turkey tenders and make sure all the turkey tenders have been coated in the egg mixture. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate to marinate for one hour or even better overnight.
  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • Prepare a large cookie sheet with a cooling rack placed on it. Spray the cooling rack with nonstick spray.
  • In a pie plate mix together the bread crumbs, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder and parmesan cheese.
  • Place each turkey tender into the bread crumb mixture and coat well on both sides.
  • Place the turkey tenders onto the sheet pan on the cooling rack. Lightly spray the turkey tenders with olive oil cooking spray.
  • Bake turkey tenders for 20 minutes. Using a cooling rack you don’t have to turn them over during cooking.
  • Place under broiler for 3 minutes to get even more crispy.
