1tablespoonDijon mustard

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°F. Spray a 9x5 loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray and set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, combine all of the meatloaf ingredients. Use gloved hands for the most efficient mixing.
Shape the meat mixture into a loaf and place it in the prepared pan.
Combine the ingredients for the sauce in a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook, whisking for 2 to 3 minutes. Spread half of the sauce over the prepared meatloaf.
Bake for 30 minutes; top with remaining sauce, and then cook for an additional 45 minutes or until the center of the meatloaf reaches 160°F.
Remove from the oven and let rest for several minutes before slicing. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley, if desired.
Notes
You can also beat the eggs lightly and combine them with the milk before adding them to the other ingredients for easier incorporation.
While messy, mixing the raw meatloaf mixture with your hands is the best way to ensure all the ingredients are well combined. Using gloves will make it a little bit easier to mix without getting your hands dirty.
Oven temperatures vary and may need to be recalibrated periodically to ensure they are accurate. Make sure to keep a close eye on your meatloaf as the suggested baking time approaches.
