1cupunsalted sunflower kernels
1cupraisins
1cupcarrots,freshly grated
1cupfreshly grated apple, one large apple with no core (your choice of variety I used fuji apples)

½cupapplesauce
½cupmolasses
Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, add the old-fashioned rolled oats and whole wheat flour. Stir until combined.
To the dry mixture, add the sunflower kernels, raisins, grated carrots, and grated apple. Stir briefly.
Add the beaten egg, applesauce, and molasses. Mix everything together until the batter is thoroughly combined and has a uniform consistency. The dough should be firm but still retain some moisture.
Using a cookie scoop, portion out the dough onto a prepared baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Space each scoop about 1 inch apart to allow for even baking.
Bake in a preheated oven until the treats are set and golden brown.
Remove the treats from the baking sheet and place them on a cooling rack. Let them cool completely before serving.
