Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups flour
  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • 2 ½ teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 ½ teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¾ cup butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons orange zest
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 cups zucchini
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ cup pecans

Instructions

  • In a medium size bowl, mix together dry ingredients.
  • In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar.
  • Add eggs and mix until smooth and creamy. Then add vanilla, orange zest and zucchini.
  • Add the dry ingredients to the wet, a little at a time, alternating with the milk.
  • Pour into pan and bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees.

For the glaze: 1 ¾ cup powdered sugar 3 tablespoons orange juice 2 teaspoons orange zest Combine ingredients. Let bread cool, then glaze.
