  • 4 cups milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • dash of nutmeg


  • Beat together sugar, eggs, nutmeg, and vanilla then add milk.
  • Mix together and pour into unbaked pie shell, sprinkle top with nutmeg
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until set.


You can make two 9-inch pies with this amount of filling, baking for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Or you can use one 10-inch pie pan as pictured with this filling, baking for 90 minutes.
