This quick and delicious buffalo chicken dip is an appetizer that will be huge hit during football season or any time of year.

  • 16 ounces cream cheese (two 8-ounce packages
  • 2 cups blue cheese crumbles
  • 2 chicken breasts, poached and shredded or use canned chicken
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup buffalo wing sauce


  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Poach and shred two chicken breasts.
  • Heat the cream cheese in the microwave until easily spreadable.
  • Blend in blue cheese, chicken, shredded cheddar, and buffalo wing sauce.
  • Spread mixture in an 8x8-inch baking dish and optionally, sprinkle additional cheese on top.
  • Bake for 30 to 45 minutes until brown on top.
  • Serve with celery sticks, tortilla chips, crackers, etc!


Note: It’s best to shred the cheese yourself, store-bought shredded cheese is usually covered with a coating that means it doesn’t melt quite as well.
Note: We used ¼ cup of hot sauce but you can use more or less depending on the spice level you like.
