Notes

PRO TIP: To ripen avocados faster, place them in a brown paper bag for about 3 days.

PRO TIP: For the crispiest bacon, bake it in the oven on a baking tray. Check out our oven-baked bacon recipe. You can cook the bacon the night or even the day before. Either way you cook the bacon, just make sure to let it sit on a paper towel before adding it to your sandwich to drain the bacon fat so you don't end up with an extra greasy sandwich.

PRO TIP: The best way to make sure your cheese melts nicely is if you let it sit out for 15 to 20 minutes before you start making these.

PRO TIP: To slice an avocado, cut it in half by running the knife around the pit and twisting the two halves to open the avocado. Remove the pit and scoop the flesh from the skin of each half.
Use ripe avocados for the best flavor. Avoid using unripe avocados. Avocados should give just slightly when squeezed gently. Avoid avocados that feel fluid under the skin. A few brown spots in the avocado flesh are just fine and perfectly edible.
