  • 4 boneless and skinless chicken breasts, sliced
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons pepper
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper, optional
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1 (8.5-ounce) bag ruffles potato chips, crushed


  • In a medium mixing bowl, add flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper. Whisk to combine.
  • In a separate bowl, add eggs, and whisk to combine.
  • In a third separate bowl, add crushed chips.
  • Preheat the oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Using tongs, dip chicken in flour, then dip chicken in egg wash, then dip the chicken in the crushed potato chips making sure to coat the entire piece. 
  • Place the chicken strips on the parchment paper-lined baking sheet and place them in the oven.
  • Bake at 425°F for 25 to 30 minutes, or until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F.


  • You can crush the chips right in the bag using a rolling pin.
  • Make sure to shake off any excess flour and egg before coating in the potato chips to prevent the coating from becoming soggy.
  • Flip the chicken tenders over halfway through cooking to ensure both sides get crispy and brown.
