Candied Almonds

A classic treat, these simple candied almonds offer delicious flavor, an irresistible crunch and are ready in just minute with a few, easy ingredients.

  • 1.5 cups almonds 7oz
  • 6 tbsp brown sugar
  • 4 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract optional


  • First, put some parchment paper on a baking sheet and set aside.
  • Then place all ingredients in a microwave-safe bowl that has a lid.
  • Turn your microwave on full power (or 1000 watts) and cook the almonds with the lid on for 2 minutes.
  • Take out of the microwave and stir.
  • Cook another 2 minutes and stir again.
  • Cook for another 60 seconds and stir for the last time.
  • If needed, you can cook for another 30 seconds.
  • Spread the almonds on your baking sheet and let them dry.
  • Place in an airtight container.


Storage: You'll want to keep the candied almonds in an airtight container at room temperature. They'll last for up to a month!
