M&M Pretzel Hugs

These quick and easy M&M pretzel hugs are a fun, festive, sweet and salty treat. Perfect for parties or gifts.

Ingredients
  

  • 84 square mini pretzels
  • 84 Hershey’s hugs unwrapped
  • 84 M&M's red and green

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 200°F.
  • Unwrap the Hershey's hugs and set aside.
  • Using a large baking sheet place a silicone baking mat on the sheet, place the pretzels on the mat in rows. You can put them all pretty in lines or just fit them all on there.
  • Place an unwrapped Hershey’s hug on the center of each pretzel.
  • Put the baking sheet into the oven and bake for 5 to 6 minutes or until the chocolate is soft but not melted all flat.
  • Remove the baking pan and gently push the M&M's on top of each Hershey’s hug.
  • Let them cool for the chocolate to harden. You can also place them in the fridge or freezer if you’re in a hurry.

Notes

TIP: You can use any amount of the ingredients in equal numbers. You could make smaller or larger pretzel M&M batches easily. 
TIP: Unwrapping the candy is a great place for little hands to help out!
TIP: You can also use parchment paper. The mat doesn’t slide so it is preferable, though. 
TIP: Don’t melt the chocolates fully. They should still be standing and a bit shiny but not fully melted. You want them soft enough to push the M&M’S on them. You can always pop them back into the oven for a minute more if you need to.
TIP: You can put more than one M&M on each mini pretzel if you’d like.
TIP: Be sure to let the chocolate set fully before you package or store them, otherwise they’ll smudge and stick.
