cups
water
(divided into 6 cups for the tea bags, 2 cups for the berries, and 2 cups of cold water)

sugar,
additional ¼ to ½ cup of sugar may be added for a sweeter tea

frozen raspberries,
24 to 30 frozen berries reserved for garnish

teaspoon
lemon juice
Instructions
Bring 6 cups of water to boil.
Add the tea bags to the water, remove the water from the heat, and steep for 5 to 7 minutes.
Remove the tea bags.
Add the sugar to the hot tea mixture and stir to dissolve.
Pour the hot tea mixture into a pitcher and add 2 cups of cold water and lemon juice.
Bring the remaining 2 cups of water to a low boil.
Add the frozen berries, minus the berries for garnish.
Simmer the berries for 5 minutes.
Pour the berry juice through a screen sieve into the tea mixture.
Chill in the refrigerator until cool.
Serve over ice with reserved berries for garnish.
Notes
You can adjust the number of tea bags to vary the strength of your tea. For a stronger tea, add an extra tea bag and steep for an extra five minutes.
The amount of time you steep your tea depends on how strong you like it. Let it steep longer for a stronger tea.
