Ingredients

box of prepared chocolate cake mix
1
box of prepared sprinkle cake mix
3
sticks of butter
4
cups
powdered sugar
red food coloring
1
box of SweeTARTS Hearts
Instructions
In base of cupcake cake pan, fill 2/3 with chocolate cake mix.
In top of cupcake cake pan, fill 2/3 with prepared sprinkle batter.
Bake at 325 for 45-60 minutes or until toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean.
Remove from oven; let cool.
While cake is cooling, prepare frosting. Whip butter with powdered sugar on high until light and fluffy.
Divide frosting into thirds. Make one a deeper color, one a lighter color and leave one white.
Fill a piping bag with darkest color first; then fill it with light color and add white last.
Once cake has cooled, cut out middle of bottom layer; fill with one box of SweeTARTS Hearts. Pipe frosting around edges and set top layer on the cake.
Pipe frosting onto cake, starting at bottom, and working to the top.
Note: I used an offset spatula to spread frosting over the cake after I piped it to give a more finished look.
