Nutter Butter Halloween Cookies

- 1 cup white candy melts
- 1 cup black candy melts
- candy eyes 2 for each cookie
- black licorice candies 2 for every bat
- 2 Tablespoons shortening
Start off by melting the white candy melts with 1 Tablespoon shortening.
Dip the top half of the ghost cookies into the candy melts, using a spoon to help ensure even coating.
While the candy melts are still wet, attach the candy eyes and allow to set.
Once half of the cookies have been transformed into ghosts, it's time to make some bats!
Melt the black candy melts with the remaining tablespoon of shortening and dip your Nutter Butter Cookies in the melts.
Attach two licorice candies for bat ears and two candy eyes.
Allow to dry, about 30 minutes.
