box white cake mix

A&W® Root Beer
Mix until combined
do not add any other ingredients. Bake according to package instructions.
Icing

stick butter at room temperature

and 2/3 cup powdered sugar

tablespoon
A&W® Root Beer
1/2
teaspoon
salt
Instructions
Combine ingredients on low speed for 30 seconds.
Increase to medium speed and mix until fluffy and well blended.
Put icing into a piping bag with a 1M tip attached to pipe frosting onto cupcake.
Top with a maraschino cherry and small paper straws.
