CHICKEN BACON RANCH CASSEROLE

INGREDIENTS:

– 12 slices of bacon – 6 cups of penne pasta – 3 or 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts – 1 ½ teaspoon of salt  – ½ teaspoon of pepper – 3 tablespoons Ranch dressing mix  – 8 tablespoons 1 stick of butter – 2 tablespoons of olive oil  – ⅔ cup onion chopped – 2 teaspoons of minced garlic – ½ cup flour – 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning – 1 teaspoon dried basil – 3 cups of chicken broth – 1 cup of heavy cream – ½ cup shaved parmesan cheese – ¼ cup sun-dried tomatoes – 3 cups of Italian style cheese – ¼ cup of chopped fresh parsley

Combine chicken and spices and fry in butter

Sautee onion and garlic in same pan

Add dry ingredients and broth, stir well

Add heavy cream and parmesan

Add bacon, sun-dried tomatoes, cooked chicken and pasta to the sauce

Put in casserole dish. Top with cheese, bacon and parsley.

Bake at 350 F for 20 minutes
