BREAD PUDDING

INGREDIENTS:

– 4 cup french or Italian bread, stale – 8 large eggs – 3 cups whole milk – 1 cup sugar – 1 1/2 cup light brown sugar – 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract – 1 tsp nutmeg – 1 tsp cinnamon – 4 tbsp butter melted – 1/2 cup heavy cream – 4 tbsp butter

Spread bread evenly in bottom of dish

In a bowl whisk together ingredients

Pour mixture over bread then let sit for 10 mins

Drizzle on melted butter then bake for 45 mins

Combine sugar, heavy cream, and butter

Cook for 5-6 mins  while whisking

Remove from heat and whisk in vanilla

Pour caramel sauce over bread pudding
