APPLE CRISP

INGREDIENTS:

– 6 Granny Smith apples – 1/4 cup all-purpose flour – 3/4 cup sugar – 1/2 cup light brown sugar packed – 1 ½ tsp cinnamon – 2 tsp lemon juice – 1/4 cup light brown sugar packed – 3/4 cup old fashioned oats – 1/4 cup flour – 1 tsp cinnamon – ½ tsp nutmeg – 4 tbsp cold butter – 1/4 cup sugar – ice cream or whipped topping

Combine oats, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and sugars

 Add cold cubed butter

Work butter into mixture until crumbly

Slice apples

Add to bowl and drizzle with lemon juice

Stir in flour, sugars, and cinnamon

Place apples into baking dish

Sprinkle oat mixture on top

Bake for 35-40 mins at 350
