On Thursday, I featured photos of the dessert table I did for my family’s circus-themed New Year’s Eve party. This post covers the food buffet I also did for the party. My wonderful friend Catherine of Goodness Bakeshop catered for me and I’m so glad I hired her to do it. Talk about a big weight off my shoulders at a very busy time of year. The menu was vegetarian and sooo good. The appetizers were corn cakes with avocado salsa (highly recommended – my favorite thing of the whole meal!) and roasted chickpeas. The dinner was roasted pepper salad on baby romaine, roasted potato rounds, roasted carrots, squash and lentil tourtiere as well as tomato schiacciata. Our vintage circus party collection, which Andrew designed, worked out perfectly. I LOVE the bear on the little bicycle that he illustrated on the tent cards.
