Since I’ve made getting healthy a personal priority this year, I have changed the way I eat. It’s paying off too; I’m excited to report I am down several pounds and three sizes!
That’s the good news. The bad news (and I am NOT complaining!) is nothing in my closet fits me now. I’m not willing to spend big bucks on a temporary wardrobe because I know I’m continuing to lose weight.
I found a great solution: SWAP. SWAP is an online consignment store for baby’s, kid’s and women’s apparel. Not only do they have an extensive inventory (50,000+ items on sale every day), it’s really convenient to shop from home. When I started to check out their site, I realized it’s a wonderful way to stretch a family’s clothing budget.
Most moms would agree that kids grow in and out of clothes at an amazing rate of speed. It seems I am forever cycling old and new clothes sizes in my boys’ closets. Although I like to outfit them in current styles, I do not like paying premium prices. And, my guys are rough on their wardrobes whether I’ve paid top dollar or not.
SWAP makes it easy to shop. Everything you see on–site is in stock and will ship in one business day. You can peruse by categories like size, brand, season, colors, condition and price. All of their clothes are clean, with no tears or stains. They sell new items that still have their tags, as well.
You’ll also find maternity apparel, baby gear, toys, games, movies, books and sports/outdoor gear. It’s kind of like having a discount mall right at your fingertips! They offer hassle-free returns if you’re not 100% satisfied. And yes, you can sell your clothes there, too. They say on average, their sellers earn about $150/per box when sending in-season, high-quality items.
