If you think baking is just for girls, this adorable baking-themed 3rd birthday party may just change your mind. When your guest of honor loves cupcakes and everything about them, a baking party is a must. Keren Precel’s amazing party concepts and styling are not new to Spaceships and Laser Beams. Her catering and event production company, Simply Perfect Events, whipped up another fabulous party, this time for three-year-old boy Lazar. From a cupcake making station, to a cupcake kiosk complete with real cupcakes and play money, the details are just too cute to miss.
- Soar high with this high-flying airplane-themed 3rd birthday party
- Have some fun in the sun with a beach-themed birthday party
A staple in all of Keren’s parties is a colorful and bountiful theme-coordinating refreshment table. Keren created a gorgeous 4’x6′ backdrop using cute baking-themed images like wire whisks, mixing bowls, and oven mitts. Our favorite part of the backdrop was the mini chef in his toque. We love how Keren added the number “3” to personalize it. The colors teal, orange and brown were a perfect choice for a masculine take on this theme.
A wooden table was filled with a variety of palate-pleasing options. The party refreshments were beautifully displayed using various cake stands, trays, and platters. Keren included options suitable for both adults and children. Some of the menu items were French fries served in custom-printed baking-themed paper cones, chicken breast rolls, individual cups of chickpea salad, mini pizza rolls, crudité cups, fresh fruit cups, strawberry trifle, a chocolate birthday cake, assorted mini quiche, and beef sliders.
We love how Keren accented some of her food displays with baking-themed cutouts. A theme-perfect banner hung from the table front, visually tying the tabletop to the backdrop, completing the look. A dash of creativity and a pinch of festivity definitely transformed the dining area. Keren created custom placemats which made darling place settings. Plates topped with napkins and wooden utensils were ready to be loaded up with delicious fare. Small water bottles were wrapped in custom labels which repeated the charming backdrop chef’s image.
The best ingredient for ensuring success was definitely the baking table setup. Chef’s hats and small bowls of ingredients were lined up to greet eager bakers. The “shake and bake” sign is adorable. Keren created a sweet spot for guests to role play. After baking and decorating, guests got to practice buying and selling their cupcakes at the cutest cupcake stand! Where better to sell “the best cupcakes in town”?
The mini kiosk was dressed up with printable banners and custom signs. There was even play money to give the kids a more authentic experience — fun! After their entertaining baking experience, guests were provided with custom-tagged favor bags and colorful balloons to take home. What a fun day of baking, and eating, in celebration of one special three-year-old. Is anyone else craving a cupcake now?!
