Never Think About What to Make for Dinner for the Next Two Months with My Lazy Cooking Bundle
A boy’s beach themed birthday party was an awesome choice for Anthony’s 7th birthday! Vicky Greco, mom, Party Stylist with PartyRite, and photographer for this event, was inspired by her son’s love for the “Teen Beach Movie”.
The dessert table certainly wowed party guests as it was filled with beautiful beach themed cupcakes, a gorgeous birthday cake, surfboard cookies, cake pops and even candy (cleverly displayed in beach buckets).
Beach bucket favor ideas perfectly tied into the beach theme as well, and like the dessert table, performed double duty as party decorations.

Selecting the local indoor pool/splash pad as the party venue created the authentic setting for a beach theme party. The colors on the treats all tied into ocean blue and sandy brown perfectly.
Brown sugar was used to create “sand” on the table and cake. I love the fun touches Vicki included, like the yellow tropical parrot, the cupcake “sitting” in the beach chair, and the grass-skirt wearing water bottles.
The cake, cupcakes, cake pops, and cookies made by the talented Vanessa Hatz were so impressive. The detail work on the cake included a likeness of the birthday boy himself as a cake topper, certainly delighting Anthony on his special day.
Surfboard cookies, beach ball cake pops and cupcakes wearing flip-flops added to the light-hearted vibe.
After filling up on hot dogs and party pies, guests were able to help themselves to a large selection of candies cunningly displayed in brightly colored beach buckets, complete with beach shovel scoops.
Beach bucket party favors tied into the bright colors of the summer paradise and offered a practical gift to be used at the beach many times over. Included were personalized chocolates, lollipops, mini flip-flop notepads and mini water pistols–all theme perfect.
The colorful chocolate wrappers added a nice personalized touch to the party favors. The buckets were also adorned with adorable favor tags.
Guests escaped into this beach paradise for a day of fun and just like any other trip to a real beach, it was difficult for everyone to leave and head for home. Anthony and his guests will be talking about this celebration for years to come!
You may remember Anthony’s Race Car Themed 6th Birthday Party feature last year. Vicky is certainly very talented at making her sons current interest come to life in the form of a birthday party theme. Can’t wait to see what Anthony’s birthday party theme will be next year!
