Celebrate a great game day with this fun snack idea plus cute soccer themed printable!
This post has been sponsored by Post Consumer Brands®. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I’m excited to bring you this versatile and yummy treat idea made with Post® cereals that you can pick up at Safeway during your next grocery run.
Mike and Sam love spending time outside together. While I might not be the most naturally sports-inclined person in the world, I love watching them have fun.
Since Sam was very young, he’s been involved in various sports, starting with tee-ball and then going into track and soccer.
Thankfully, Mike has helped him develop his love of activity, and they spend time practicing and honing skills together at home.
Then, come the weekend, it’s time for us to cheer Sam on alongside his teammates.
And of course, weekend games mean snack time for the whole crew. It was recently our turn to bring the snack for the team to enjoy. After seeing these fun, soccer star-studded boxes of Post® cereals during a recent shopping trip to Safeway, I knew exactly what our snack selection would be!
Like any kid, Sam loves seeing sports icons he looks up to on his favorite products. There are several Post® cereals featuring big soccer stars right now, so naturally, we needed to get a few boxes!
Sam almost always starts his day with a big bowl of cereal for breakfast. It’s his favorite go-to every morning. But these delicious cereals can go beyond the breakfast table, straight into a perfect snack time.
Luckily, I use the Safeway mobile app, which has lots of great coupon savings. I love shopping there — they offer a great selection of all our favorites.
After picking up our Post® cereals at Safeway in the cereal aisle, I decided to make a little snack mix to take along to our weekend soccer game.
I included a scoop of some of our favorites: Honey Bunches of Oats®, Honeycomb®, and Oreo O’s®.
I used clear snack bags, then hole punched the soccer printable, and tied it shut with some twine. The bags were ready to go for after the soccer game. I picked up some single-serve milk boxes to go with it.
Such a cute, fun, and easy snack idea!
You could serve for a game day snack, an afternoon treat at home, or while watching your favorite soccer team score the winning goal. There are lots of possibilities!
You could change up the cereals included as well, creating lots of flavor combinations.
Grab your favorite Post® cereal flavors at Safeway and create this yummy treat for your crew soon. Don’t forget to print our free soccer printable tag as well!
