Baby boy shower ideas don’t get any cuter than this! Jenny, at Bloom Designs, has done a masterful job with an innovative theme: Shake, Rattle and Roll.
Her sister, Nicole (who happens to be a fashion blogger herself), was the guest of honor and Jenny wanted to wow this first-time mom-to-be.
Jenny carefully planned for every detail and it shows!
Even the stamps on the invitations coordinate with the theme idea and guests went home with “midnight feeding” favor boxes filled with yummy treats.
One of my favorite details is the way giant (36″) balloons and long tassels encircle the entire venue–delightful.
The welcome sign is suspended between sprawling tree canopies and hangs over a cushioned bench; it’s the perfect spot for guests to pose with mom-to-be.
Traditional guest books are great, but how nice to have a visual record of the well-wishers, too.
The guest book signing at this party was done via signatures in a the book (affiliate link ->) All the Places to Love for Baby Stoner; another unique idea.
A new baby-changing table serves as the beverage station.
There is a variety of sparkling waters and ready-to-pop soda bottles, personalized with wraps. In addition, guests could choose lemonade or champagne.
Straws in stripes wave “welcome”. Wine glasses are personalized with charms that are tied on with baker’s twine; in theme colors.
Rock candy sticks with mini silver pacifiers are a sweet compliment to the champagne glasses.
No one could go home hungry from this party!
A wonderful “cravings table” offers sandwiches, a veggie frittata, brussel sprouts, roasted beets, a choice of salads and fresh fruit.
Highlighted with enlarged images used on the invitations, the desert table really captures attention.
Nicole’s favorite, banana cake, is used as the centerpiece dessert, but there are also vanilla shakes, cake pop rattles, (cupcake) rolls, custom sugar cookies, boy-oh-boy chocolate bars and white chocolate mousse in mini baby food jars.
All decorations that embellish the food are theme and color coordinated.
Finally, there is a favor station loaded with candy choices to fill take-out “midnight feeding” boxes.
Baker’s twine and mini pacifiers are a darling way to tie up the favors.
There are also boxes of customized chocolate kisses to take home and polka dotted candy bags are kept intact for the journey home with miniature clothespins.
An extra “wow” on the favor table is the pretty white ribbon wreath. Guests are invited to write their suggestion of a name for the new baby, and clothespin it to the wreath.
This Shake, Rattle and Roll party is filled with marvelous ideas you can use when planning a baby shower for someone special. (See these awesome baby shower games, if you’re planning one too!)
A celebration with even half of these suggestions would be awesomeguess that makes this one fantastic!
