Storage

Now that you’ve whipped up this irresistible Oreo fluff, you might be wondering how to store it to keep the deliciousness intact. Here’s what you need to know:

MAKE AHEAD: If you’re planning to get ahead of the game, you can prepare the Oreo fluff a day in advance.

Simply follow the recipe as usual, cover it tightly with plastic wrap or an airtight container, and pop it in the fridge until you’re ready to serve.

IN THE FRIDGE: Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.

PRO TIP:

You can make this the night before, but keep in mind that the longer the cookies are in the pudding mixture, the softer they will become.

I have absolutely no doubt that this is delicious. However, I don’t understand what you do with it. I mean, is it a frosting? Or is it considered a side dish?
Thank you. After I get your answer, I might substitute mint Oreos. Will this be a good idea to make for a bbq?

    • Layne Kangas says

Hi, Jeannette – this would be perfect for a BBQ or potluck. My kids eat with a spoon like a side dish, but you can also serve it with fruit or pretzels for dipping. Enjoy!
