They’re not Kung Fu Frogs, they’re Ninja Turtles. Your favorite sewer-dwelling superheroes are back and Ninja Turtle boys’ birthday parties are incredibly popular.
Little boys everywhere are learning to eat pizza in colored eye masks while brandishing nun-chucks. Angie, of Sweet Bits and Pieces, and her husband relived fond after-school memories planning this celebration for their turtle-in-training’s 3rd birthday.
They used inspiring party ideas to design an awesome Ninja Turtle-themed dessert table complete with a gorgeous cake and adorable printable decorations and created an exciting party atmosphere with themed activities and a real Ninja Turtle.
Sweet Bits and Pieces is clearly run by party planning ninjasthey not only designed and threw this party, they also prepared the entire menu and acted as photographers.

A simple backdrop and plain tableware keeps things uncomplicated at this great dessert buffet table, and a luscious green ombre birthday cake effortlessly coordinates all the shades of green.
I love, love, LOVE the amazing theme-colored candy-filled apothecary jars transformed into Donnie, Mikey, Raphael, and Leo using the mystical ninja skills of party printables.
White chocolate “Turtle Shells” (sprinkle-coated nonpareils), fruity “Ninja Sticks” (licorice), and tutti fruity “Turtle Pops” (lollipops) are some of the theme-colored candies offered.
Those Cowabunga Cupcakes also have the gnarly ninja’s faces peering up from them. What a great idea to have “Toxic Jelly Slime” (green Jello) and “Mini Ninja Pavlova” perfectly portioned in clear cups for graceful serving.
Chocolate-covered Oreos have become a staple party treat, and these are creatively customized with the number 3-in the turtles’ mask colors for James’ special day.
Call me overly practical, but I’m a major proponent of using your sons toys as themed party décor. The Shellraiser Van couldn’t be a more perfect centerpiece for this table.

James was crazy excited when Donatello showed up at his party! His loving uncle rented a costume and taught the kids some “ninja exercises”: tumble rolls, star jumps, and running on the spot.
Little turtles also played “Pin the Mask on the Turtle”, practiced more jumps in a moonwalk, and took a swing at a themed piñata.
James thanked his guests with favor bags filled with all the treats from the dessert buffet. Gummy pizzas were everyone’s favorite!
