Fabulous Spaceships and Laser Beams designer Catherine is putting the finishing touches on adorable new Vintage Airplane Collection, so I have been searching around for ideas and inspiration on aviation party decor. When I stumbled across this sweet vintage airplane themed dessert table, I immediately emailed its creator, Carolyn, to see if I could feature it here on our little boy party blog. The owner of the Etsy shop Armelle Jewelry, Carolyn created it as part of her son Ezra’s forth birthday. Since I love incorporating inexpensive household items (yarn, jute twine, paper bags) into dessert tables, Carolyn’s use of maps to create the banner, straw flags and paper plane cake pennant (sooo cute) really speaks to me.
