I have something fun for you to add to your kids’ summer bucket list: homemade finger paints. I’m sure you already have the necessary ingredients. Easy, quick to make and economical fun—what’s not to love?
The good time starts in the kitchen. My kids love helping me make the gooey paste. They “help” measure and pour. I take stove duty and then divide the paste into containers. The guys enjoy adding and stirring the colors.
This is a super project any time of year but I really like doing it in the summer when it’s simple to set the kids up on an outside table. When they’re finished with their masterpieces, I hose the table and chairs off while the kids clean themselves with Wet Ones® hand wipes.
When it comes to the boys’ projects—including messy but oh-so-awesome finger paints—it’s a no-brainer to have a canister of Wet Ones® hand wipes nearby for easy hand clean ups. They’re tough on dirt but gentle on skin—and they kill 99.99% of germs.
