Never Think About What to Make for Dinner for the Next Two Months with My Lazy Cooking Bundle
Vrooom vroom! These Ferrari-themed boy birthday party ideas from Carol Cohen, of Partylicious, will have your birthday guy racing around in delight! Carol and her friend Ilia styled this party for Ilia’s son’s eleventh birthday.
Hansy wanted to have his party at a new, local attraction which featured bumper spin cars and a go-kart racetrack, a perfect place to host a Ferrari party with coordinating decorations and a super dessert table and cake.

Carol and Ilia used the Ferrari logo as the basis for their party color scheme: red, yellow, black and white. That combo also worked with the colors of the party venue, which is something to keep in mind when you’re planning an event.
The logo was carried throughout the party with great effect on the birthday cake, treats, and printables.
Guests were invited to “race on over to celebrate” with a classy invitation featuring the Ferrari logo and birthday colors. When they arrived at the party venue, guests could clearly see exactly where the party was happening because the dessert table display perfectly matched the invitations.
Located near the bumper cars, the party table popped with color and fun. Black-and-white chequered pennant racing flags flew over the table while also coordinating with the table covering.
On either side of the display stood a column of red, white, yellow and black balloons made by local balloon artist Joanna Padin. A “Happy Birthday” banner swung on the front of the table, yet I’m sure it was the treats on the table that caught the attention of birthday guests!
Carol knows how to set up a candy bar for a party. A thoughtful sign let guests know it was OK to help themselves to the treats; silver-wrapped chocolate kisses, red or black rock candy, black-and-white lollipops, red sixlets and life savers, or black and red gumballs.
Featuring the Ferrari logo, each candy displayed an eye-catching sign which identified the candy flavor.
Hansy’s Ferrari cake deserved center stage with its beautiful logo on top and “Ferrari” emblazoned on the side.
Local baker Eva Eileen Barreto created the cake along with awesome matching cupcakes featuring the logo and mini red race cars. It looks like the boys had plenty of treats to fill their “engines” while they raced around the track!
Die-cast Ferrari race cars were displayed between the cake and candy, adding to the fun. Filling out the display, black-and-white racing striped boxes labeled with “Thank you!” waited for guests to fill with take-home treats.
Carol truly worked wonders for a party at a public venue, using fun colors and a theme that perfectly complemented Hansy’s chosen party activity. Great birthday party for a tween guy.
