Duck Dynasty Theme Birthday Party

Duck Dynasty is so popular right now! If you haven’t caught them on TV yet, the show Duck Dynasty follows the Robertson family from Louisiana. They are the founders of Duck Commander, a company that produces duck calls and decoys for hunters. The Robertson’s rags to riches story makes for great TV! And as Megan over at Cattle and Cupcakes shows us, Duck Dynasty also makes for a great party!

Megan starts her Duck Dynasty theme with camouflage printed blankets and accessories from a local sports store. My son would be crazy about all the great camo print items she uses, right down to the paper plates! Then, she incorporated the great printables over at Bison Bleu Printable Parties to Go. The cupcake signs, birthday banner, and water bottle labels add a great touch to each of the items and really help incorporate her theme in little ways.
For refreshments, Megan served Grilled Frog {don’t worry — it was really chicken!}, BBQ Duck {again, chicken!}, and squirrel sausage {just regular sausage balls}. All inspired by the favorite foods of the Duck Dynasty family!
For dessert, guests enjoyed dirt cake and cupcakes. {Notice the camo cupcake wrappers!} Beverages included sweet tea and lemonade. I love how she uses Mason jars! And check out the bright blue Hey Jack cups, they are also great for a splash of color.
For entertainment, everyone enjoyed a game of Duck Dynasty trivia and prizes were awarded from IzzyJs, LoveBugGifts1, AmandaKrueger, and Patent Prints. I love the needle points and I ? Willie pillow. One of my favorite items is the Duck Caller print — it’s just so perfect for this theme!
The party favors were s’mores kits that were packaged in darling little burlap sacks tied with string and a camo tag. Megan made sure her party’s theme was carried through to the tiniest detail!
