Little boys love trains and train themed birthday parties! Keren Precel Events put both together in this nostalgic Vintage Train Birthday Party.

I love the idea of a vintage train carrying the birthday boy into his future! Keren’s red, white and blue custom party supplies created a lovely Americana excursion for her client’s 3rd birthday.

Fun entertainment ideas, a fabulous menu and birthday cake, plus themed take-home favors made certain the party stayed on track.

As soon as you walk into this venue, what captures your attention and sets the tone for this lovely celebration is the vintage style, customized backdrop inviting everyone aboard the James Express.

James also gets a mention right in the middle of the bountiful table; I really like the pattern/color mix on the letters spelling out his name.

Keren arranged a tantalizing composition on the buffet table! The gourmet menu included personal sized Caesar salad, meatballs, mini quiche, cheese puff bread sticks and fruit combo cups.

The double tiered birthday cake by Keren’s Party Cakes made a handsome centerpiece in red and blue.

Train themed cookies, cake pops and cupcakes were offered, too.

The dark, rich wood of the traveling cases and trays contrasted nicely with the shiny pedestals for an attractive grouping. Themed food labels are a thoughtful way to inform guests of menu choices.

The kraft paper covered table was made ready for young guests with beverage and water bottles in coordinating, printable wraps that sported the birthday boy’s age. Striped straws and party flags added another fun note of celebration.

Napkins and wood utensils were colorfully bound with a printable napkin wrap at each place setting. Keren paid attention to all the details–even the chairs wore theme colors!

Photo Booths are a popular party activity these days and Keren added an extra dimension by having little party guests dress up; they could choose to pose as a future conductor, a driver, or a train passenger for their souvenir photo at the Choo-Choo Photo Booth.

Children’s party entertainer, Steve Baloney, was also on board to please and tease for a fun, hour long extravaganza.

Companion train posters carried the theme throughout the party space. Keren cleverly used conductor hats and red bandanas as a party bunting and then as a thank you, guests were gifted with their own “future conductor” dress-up set.

Each set included one of the striped conductor hats, a red bandana, and a train whistle. Everything was tucked into an organic cotton bag, imprinted with the same vintage train image used throughout the party.

A happy birthday boy and his guests had fun times, good food and a satisfying train adventure, all because of the wonderful efforts of Keren Precel.
