Can you “Keep Calm and Crush On”? Hopefully all of the guests at Avry and Asher’s party could. With a cheerful and calming color palette of blues paired with yellow, I think I could manage to keep calm. “Crushing on” is a whole other story, but I’m not 4 with loads of energy! Tali designed the adorable “Keep Calm” poster, in addition to the other printable décor elements at this party. You’ll notice the iconic monster truck used consistently throughout the printable decorations and embellishments. The poster made a perfect focal point for the beverage and favor station. Bright yellow tissue poms added a nice pop of color overhead.
Refreshing limeade “coolant” was available from a spruced up beverage jar. Guests could drink it from adorable milk bottles with striped paper straws and sweet ribbon detailing.
Or, should they prefer, water bottles with cool monster truck wraps were also handy.
Nearby, a tiered stand served as a parking lot for monster truck party favors with the cutest hang tags thanking guests for “a smashing time”. Painted Mason jars, by Always the Occasion, provided a beautiful way to display the flower arrangements.
Fueling up was made easy with an impressive dessert table. The boys’ mom, Katy, had black and white portraits of each boy enlarged to use for the backdrop. They looked amazing against the aqua chevron fabric. Darling custom birthday banners hung from the backdrop as well as the table front, tying in the monster truck theme.
Whenever a dessert table includes not one, but two cakes, you know you’re in for a treat! Fancy and Fold made custom cake toppers for the birthday cakes. I can only imagine how satisfying that was for each boy to have their own cake!
Simple white platters were loaded up with mounds of monster truck-inspired treats: there were monster truck tire cake pops from EZ Favors Lollipop Shop and cupcakes were embellished with toppers by Fancy Cakes made to match the party printables. How cool is the silver detailing on those tires? An assortment of candy would rev engines, too.
Little boys AND their moms will find ample details to delight at this most fashionable truck stop for birthday boys and their friends!
