Never Think About What to Make for Dinner for the Next Two Months with My Lazy Cooking Bundle
Colorful Legos have provided many a boy with hours of fun building, so it should be no surprise that Legos would be used to build a Lego themed boy’s birthday party, too.
Belinda, of Lil Miss Macaron, thrilled her son with a Lego party for his 5th birthday.
Belinda designed kid-friendly dessert table decorations. The result? A bright and happy celebration that any Lego lovin’ guy would love.

The dessert table makes a dramatic appearance with a black table covering and the awesome “Hudson” graphic backdrop.
The backdrop and all of the food tents cleverly use a Lego-ish (is that a word?!) font, it’s terrific! Blush Loves Mint created the tassel garland that pulls all of the colors together.
The Lego Sort and Store Head is a confection by Olivia’s Kitchen; doesn’t it look real? Fondant Legos and real little Lego guys embellish the cake and platform.
Belinda made the rest of the desserts herself: colorful macarons (of course!); cupcakes; cookies; chocolate caramel tarts, lemon tarts; jelly (Jello) cups; chocolate crackles and cakepops.
The Lego motif is repeated throughout the array and you’l see it in the cookie shape and in miniature Legos on the cakepops and cupcakes.
Even the serving pedestal for the tarts was made of real Legos!
Belinda was a busy mama making all of the party items! Each birthday guest received a favor bag filled with a Belinda-designed color book, temporary tattoos, mini Lego figures, candies, a Lego guy sugar cookie (sporting #5 on his chest), Lego figure crayons (which Belinda also made) and a copy of the “Hudson” logo on a placemat.
If your birthday boy is one of the many fans of Lego, you’re sure to find inspiration in Belindas celebration ideas. Bright color, graphic appeal and simple forms are combined with taste treats to delight any birthday boy.
