My love for creating interesting tastes has given me a reputation in our circle of friends. I love it. Whether it’s a simple get-together or dinner party, I often find myself eagerly volunteering to bring “something”. There’s just something so satisfying about making and sharing food. I mean, we all need to eat. But when you can come up with taste combinations that people genuinely get excited about…that’s gratifying.

Slow Cooker Barabacoa Chicken Wings

This recipe for Barabacoa Chicken Wings is one of my latest experiments. It’s a full-flavored taste with a lot of dash—but it isn’t so fiery that you only have the perception of “hot” and no taste.

It’s great anytime, but I think it’s an especially good take-along for fall’s football tailgating.

Easy Crock Pot Recipe Ideas

I used my new Crock-Pot® slow cooker for this recipe and I like how it enhanced the mingling of flavors and mellowed the taste without drying things out. That’s a real win in my book.

Wings in Crockpot

I also like that the Crock-Pot® slow cooker makes it simple to share your creations. The secure-fit locking lid and easy-grasp handle make it readily portable. Busy moms like me, who often wish for more hands, will especially like that!

And I sure appreciate the spill-proof transportability. If you’ve ever watched part of your meal splash onto the car seat on the way to a party, you’ll know what I mean. This Crock-Pot® product doesn’t let that happen.
