Nutella S’mores Truffles

By  | Last Updated:

Do you need a super easy, super yummy kids’ party food idea? Sure you do! With all of the graduations, Father’s Day and birthday parties this time of year, a crowd pleaser that is a simple no-bake is high on everyone’s wish list because who has hours to spend in the kitchen?

This recipe has even more going for it: it tastes like s’mores plus it includes everyone’s favorite, Nutella. And because truffles seem a little elegant, I can even see this working for a bridal or baby shower dessert table as readily as a camping themed birthday party. Bet you can even get the kids to help you make it—it is that easy.  What’s not to love about all of that?! Here’s the recipe. You can thank me later.

½ cup + 1 tablespoon of Nutella
2 tablespoons of heavy cream
20 mini marshmallows
¼ cup of graham cracker crumbs

  • Combine Nutella and heavy cream on low speed in your mixer.
  • Take a small handful of the Nutella mixture; push a mini marshmallow inside; roll this into a ball.
  • Roll the ball in the graham cracker crumbs.

This recipe yields about 20 truffles. That’s perfect for a family party but it is easy to double or triple the amounts for a larger group. I suggest you keep these in the fridge until you’re ready to serve; they are at their best when they’re served the same day they’re made.

Bake up a fun summer treat kids will love with these great sources gathered by the crew at Spaceships and Laser Beams.
