Easy Chocolate S’mores Tart

By  | Last Updated:

When is the last time you had a girls’ night? Mike and I love to have friends over and that’s great. Most of our friends have kids, too, so there is always a lot of activity when we have a gathering—lots of games, laughter and eating. And parenting. But it seems to me that women have a need to at least sometimes get together without the family interruptions.  I am determined to invite a couple of my nearest and dearest women friends over for a gab fest before summer races past. With everyone’s lives so busy, spontaneous get-togethers rarely happen these days.

I’ve been trying to decide if I should plan some activity for us or if just being together will be enough. It would be fun to have a mini-spa…but that kinda sounds like a lot of work to get ready! None of us do any handwork, like quilting. If I wait until we all have time to read the same book for a discussion, we might not get together until next summer. I think I might just settle on serving a little bit of chocolate and let the words fill the night.

This s’mores tart is a perfect anytime dessert. Mike and Sam love it but it’s special enough to enjoy with company. I’m thinking I might get gold stars for serving this chocolate decadence with just three spoons while we girls dish.

Ready for a little chocolate decadence?
