Chicken Parmesan Dip

This easy, cheesy, creamy Chicken Parmesan Dip is the perfect appetizer to enjoy!

Do you have a favorite recipe that your family always begs you to make when you have them over?

This Chicken Parmesan Dip is one of those recipes for us. More on that in just a moment…  (BTW, check out this buffalo chicken dip for another great option.)

The busy holiday season typically means a few extra take-out meals at our house.

Throw in Christmas get-togethers with friends at a restaurant, too.

I’ll be honest: there are days I am glad I don’t have to cook, and I appreciate being served — but haven’t you noticed the best times happen at home?

This year, I was all about eating as many meals at home with family as possible. For the most part, we hit our goal and did great.

My wallet thanks me and we have loads of memories gathered around our dining table that we wouldn’t have had otherwise.

We had opportunities to talk about our days, our joys, our frustrations and what tomorrow holds while lingering at the table. I know those conversations wouldn’t have taken place sitting in a noisy restaurant with all the interruptions dining out can bring.

It’s also given me the opportunity to try out all sorts of delicious new recipes. Our whole family has enjoyed picking favorites.

Of course, there are several which are now regularly requested. Like this Chicken Parmesan Dip.

It’s extra cheesy, so easy to make and boasts delicious flavors your entire family will love.

A real winner!

Chicken Parmesan Dip

Chicken is a preferred meat in our house. All my boys love it, making it an easy choice for mama when it comes time to come up with a recipe.

And any form of bread. My boys love some good bread.

My oldest son almost always orders chicken parm when we go to our favorite local Italian place.

I knew I could recreate a fun twist on the dish at home and incorporate some of their favorite things in a new dish.

And voila — a family favorite was born!

I’ve served this several times to guests now and everyone raves.

That’s how I knew it was time to share it with y’all.

Let’s gather some ingredients and talk about how to make this yummy warm dip recipe.

Easy Chicken Dip Recipe

Ingredients for Chicken Parmesan Dip

I bet you’ll have these items in your cupboards already, so it’s a great last minute option since it comes together so quickly.

We’ll be using canned chicken breast, Italian seasoned bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, cream cheese, traditional spaghetti sauce, mozzarella cheese and bread sticks.

You can also add in a little garlic too if your family likes it.

I’m pretty sure my gang almost always smells very, very strongly of garlic because it’s such a staple in our meals. 😉

How to Make Chicken Parmesan Dip

Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F.
Stir chicken, bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese in a medium bowl.
Spread cream cheese in bottom of 9-inch pie plate. Spread half the sauce over cream cheese. Top with chicken mixture. Drizzle with remaining sauce. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
Bake for 20 minutes or until hot and bubbling. Serve with bread sticks for dipping.
I slice long bread sticks into small pieces. You could also serve individual bread sticks and people could rip off pieces to dip.

Look at all that incredible ooey-gooey cheese. We gobble it up FAST whenever I make it… and I’ve actually started doubling the batch whenever I put it together just because it goes so quick.
