This Plane Themed Birthday Party Soars

By  | Last Updated:

A boy’s plane themed birthday party can really make imaginations soar! The clever Jason and Heather, of Hello My Sweet, have put together another party idea that you’ll want to consider; they always come up with original ways to pull supplies together for creating parties that make you wish for an invitation! Brooke Mayo Photos captured images at “Austin Airlines”, which just happened to be located inside the Sanctuary Vineyards.

Lofty ceilings at the Sanctuary Vineyards allowed for some great model plane airlifts! Jason helped all of the kids build their own foam glider planes. In addition to playing musical chairs, another party activity that proved popular with the young guests was the Cargo Hold area where there was a cardboard box sorting and stacking game.

Party colors chosen were a combination of sky blue, happy orange and hits of white. These colors became the signature for all “Austin Airlines” goods. Water bottles, juice boxes and straws were wrapped in stripes. Dare I say how much I LOVE the cupcake printable wrap and propeller? Should I tell you they are from our very own Spaceships and Laser Beams vintage plane printable collection? Yes, I should! The cupcakes look yummy, too, topped in sky blue and cloud white frosting.

A Frequent Flyer Lounge was set up just for parents. They had airline type snacks and adorable chocolate airplanes to nosh on. Condiments were corralled in a blue lunch box. My favorite element of the “terminal” guest table has to be those cute propeller plates! Party balloons float above the centerpiece clouds. Model airplanes are a nice touch too!
