By  | Last Updated:

Hey guys Samantha from Sweet Eats Cakes here for my next guest post. This week I wanted to share with you how to plan an awesome construction party for your little guy. This party theme seems to be really popular with the younger guys and I wanted to make your party planning a little bit easier with some simple ideas to pull together a great party!

• Balloons (yellow, black, orange)
• Homemade signs (Caution fun zone)
• Caution Tape
• Orange Construction Cones
• Plastic Toy trucks (Dump trucks, Backhoe, Bulldozer)
Use your son’s toys to your advantage for decorating the party.

• Hard Hats
• Aprons
Put your little builders in the mood for a fun time!

• Sandbox (Dig Zone)
• Pin the tool on the builder
• Lego (Build Zone)

• Serve finger foods (chips, pretzels) in construction related toys (dump trucks, plastic buckets, tool boxes)
• Serve lunches in brown bag for each little builder (sandwich, fruit, crackers and juice)

• Construction cookie signs
• Hard hat cake pops
• Dirt cake cups with chocolate rocks
• Chocolate cake with dump truck toy
• Truck Tires (mini chocolate donuts)
• Construction zone cupcakes
Backdrops for dessert and food tables cake be as simple as a peg board with tools hanging from it.

So I hope this gave you some great ideas on how to pull together a simple but fun construction party for your little builder.
