British Birthday Bash {Boy Party Ideas}

By  | Last Updated:

I adore this British themed second birthday party! The details are stunning and you can tell how carefully thought out they are. It’s also especially sweet since the birthday boy is half British himself! Take a peek at this darling party idea from Keren Precel Events!

I love the simplicity of the food table’s design. It’s one of the most beautiful I have ever seen in this theme. The heart shaped British themed back drop is perfect and I love the items Keren chose to feature — custom designed and inspired by the birthday boy’s bedroom wallpaper.

The table design is simple with white linens and glass, silver, and wooden serving trays. I like that the focus is brought to the other elements of the theme – particularly the Union Jack inspired color palette – by using these simple features.

The little wooden figurines like toy soldiers and telephone booths around the table are fantastic touches as well!

Everyone loves Paddington Bear! It’s wonderful to see him brought to this table. He’s the perfect representation for a little British boy’s birthday party!

The party menu was extensive and guests enjoyed treats like personal fruit cups served in mason jars, turkey and beef meat balls, fusilli pasta salad with chicken and roasted vegetables, crudite cups with fresh cut vegetables, tzatziki and home made hummus, and beef and red peppers empanadas. These chocolate bites with little flags are the perfect bite sized treat!

Drinks were served in glass bottles with colorful straws and darling, custom labels wishing a happy birthday to Bennett.

The grand finale was the delicious red velvet cake with British icons created out of fondant for decorations. The cake is from I Love Your Cake. How cute is the little British flag race car on top of the cake?

Guests were also able to take home custom designed chocolate bars!

A play corner was created for small guests to enjoy which included customized coloring sheets with crayons and play dough. I think creating a fun play environment for guests can help ensure a successful party!

Stephanie is in love with a boy named Sam. He has taught her that it’s okay to jump first and look later, to wear a dirty shirt to the park and to decide that today is a good day to take a nap in your rubber boots. She hangs out here blogging at Spaceships and Laser Beams and at our printable party shop on Etsy.
