Boy’s Dinosaur First Birthday Party

By  | Last Updated:

You don’t have to be a professional party planner to throw a great dinosaur birthday party. Check out this darling first birthday party thrown by party-loving-mama Danielle. [And check out my post, 30 dinosaur birthday party ideas you’ll love, and are still looking for more great ideas.”]

Danielle put together this great dinosaur birthday party to celebrate her son, Artcher, turning one. I think she did a great job and I’m so glad she shared her party with me! I love the colorful banner of photos she hung up of Artcher’s first year. What a great way to look back at great memories. I wish I had done this for Sam’s first birthday but now that I think about it, the banner would have probably made me cry that day. 🙂

Some of the desserts that Danielle served up that day were dinosaur cookies as well as cupcakes and cake. I love the natural look of the slab of tree trunk the cake is sitting on. Also, notice the little party hat on the dinosaur? Ha! Love. It. On the healthier side, Danielle served portable snack cups filled with dip, veggies, and pretzels that made munching and visiting with other guests easy!

Diane also had a full stable of blow up dinosaurs would be great for active little boys to run around with. And birthday boy Artcher and the other kids even got to ride a giant dinosaur! How cute!

When they were tired out, one of the best parts of this party was the coloring station. The cardboard dinosaurs were the perfect activity for the kids to use some crayons and stickers on!

Guests left with adorable favor bags that certainly fit the outdoor theme: she added burlap and twine plus adorable themed favor tags that matched the cupcake toppers.
