Alligator Themed Boy’s First Birthday Party

By  | Last Updated:

I’m planning a bayou themed party for my own birthday party this year. So when I received this  alligator party submission from Julie of Magnolia Creative Co, I was so inspired. Also a little worried because some of the things I had planned are a little close to hers — Particularly her invite and my favor, don’t you hate that, LOL.She threw this party to celebrate her son’s first birthday. (For more alligator party ideas here.)

Her son’s birthday falls at the same time as both her husband’s and best friend’s birthdays. For the past seven years she’s done a joint crawfish boil to celebrate, so she wanted to pull it all into one big swamp bash.

I think my one of my favorite parts of the party is the trio of birthday cakes — they’re perfect for a swamp party theme. Vendor credits are at the end of the post.

Stephanie is in love with a boy named Sam. He has taught her that it’s okay to jump first and look later, to wear a dirty shirt to the park and to decide that today is a good day to take a nap in your rubber boots. She hangs out here blogging at Spaceships and Laser Beams and at our printable party shop on Etsy.
