Great Gift Ideas: #ReadMore with Kobo

Disclosure: I am part of the PTPA Brand Ambassador Program with Kobo and I received compensation as part of my affiliation with this group. The opinions on this blog are my own.

Ever since I was a very little girl, I have loved to read. I credit my mama for helping to instill such a deep love of literature in me. Every night at bedtime, she spent hours reading aloud to me. I adored listening to her: she made the characters come alive with her delightful voices. Even as an adult, I sometimes find myself imagining a character with one of her voices while reading.

Kobo Gift Ideas #ReadMore

Each Christmas and birthday, one of my most desired items is new books. This year is no exception. I am especially excited since I recently downloaded the Kobo app. It’s a free app that you can download to any device or use on your computer or eReader.

Read in the Tub

If you are looking for a wonderful gift idea for the reader in your life this Christmas, I would recommend looking at the Kobo H2O. This new reader is both waterproof and dustproof, making it the perfect companion to take almost anywhere. It features a 6.8-inch HD display along with customizable fonts and ample storage. You can also receive recommendations based on your activity and preferences.

Another favorite feature on Kobo is their stats section. Here you’ll find information like the number of minutes you’ve read and the number of pages turned. I love that their software also breaks down your stats by type of reading: a book, magazine or newspaper.

If you’re a big reader like me, it’s also wonderful to have your previously read titles stored so you don’t accidentally pick up the same book twice. {Not that I’ve ever purchased two or more copies of a good looking book before…} You can also log books you’d like to read next, so your list can always grow and be managed.

I thoroughly enjoy reading via my Kobo app. I know the reader in your life will love it as well!
