The exterior of these air fries Oreos is perfectly crisp and golden brown, while the interior stays warm and gooey.

The unexpected crunch followed by the smooth chocolatey center is enough to make anyone’s taste buds dance with joy.

You’ll need:

  • 1 (8-ounce) can of crescent rolls (I used Pillsbury, but you can use the generic version)
  • 8 Double Stuf Oreos (I used the Oreo brand, but you can use the generic version)
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons of powdered sugar

Substitutions And Additions

COOKIES: You can substitute any sandwich cookie flavors for the Double Stuf Oreos. Try Golden Oreos, Birthday Cake, Mint Chocolate, Red Velvet Oreos, or any generic sandwich cookie.

COOKING SPRAY: You can substitute avocado oil spray for the nonstick cooking spray.

How To Make This Air Fried Oreos Recipe

Making this treat is as simple as wrapping the Oreos in the crescent dough and popping them into the air fryer. Let’s walk through the process.

OUR RECIPE DEVELOPER SAYS

Make sure to follow the directions for your specific model of air fryer oven when making this recipe.

STEP ONE: Unroll the canister of crescent rolls. Separate the first triangle of dough.

STEP TWO: Place 1 of the Oreo cookies in the center of the wide bottom edge of the crescent roll dough triangle. Fold the bottom edges of the dough over the cookie. Begin wrapping the dough over the cookie as you roll the cookie up towards the tip of the dough. Repeat for the remaining cookies.

STEP THREE: Remove the baking basket from the air fryer. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F for 3 minutes. Just before you are ready to bake the Oreos, generously spray the basket with nonstick cooking spray.

PRO TIP:

Make sure to get your air fryer preheating a few minutes before you are ready to fry your Oreos so that it is warmed up when you are finished wrapping them.

STEP FOUR: If you have the larger air fryer basket, arrange all of the wrapped cookies into the prepared basket in a single layer, leaving a bit of room for the crescent dough to expand. Bake for 6½ to 7 minutes until golden brown. If you have a smaller basket, you will need to cook the wrapped cookies in 2 batches. Air fry Oreos for 5½ to 6 minutes, until golden brown.

STEP FIVE: Remove the cooked cookies from the basket of the air fryer and transfer them to a serving plate. Liberally dust the fried Oreos with powdered sugar. Serve while still warm.

PRO TIP:

You can make a glaze of powdered sugar and heavy cream to drizzle over the cooked cookies.

How To Serve

This indulgent treat is best served with a cold glass of milk, homemade hot chocolate, or Wendy’s Frosty.

For an even more over-the-top treat, serve your Oreos with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of hot fudge sauce.

Our air fryer cake and air fryer cinnamon rolls are two more air fryer recipes that are sure to be a hit with the whole family.

Storage

These Oreos will taste best right out of the air fryer, but you can keep them on the counter for a couple of days.

ON THE COUNTER: Store any leftover air-fried Oreos in an airtight container for up to 2 days at room temperature.

IN THE FREEZER: We do not recommend freezing air fryer fried Oreos as they will become soggy. Stick with making these fresh.

You won’t believe how quickly these air fried Oreos can be whipped up, with only 3 ingredients and much faster than the deep fried version. The crunchy exterior with a creamy interior will take any Oreo lover over the edge – especially when dunked in some cold milk!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can I use any type of sandwich cookie for this air fryer deep fried Oreos recipe?

Any sandwich cookie will be delicious in this recipe. Whether traditional Oreos or another type of Oreo, you can pick your favorite.

How long do air fried Oreos last?

This sweet treat is best served fresh before they cool. Once they cool, the batter will become soggy and won’t have that delicious, fried taste.

Can I freeze these delicious treats?

We don’t recommend freezing these air fryer Oreos as they will lose their crispy texture and become soggy once thawed.
