The photos by Kory at Twist Photography capture all of the fun!
When her son Bailey requested a rock climbing party, Monique searched for the perfect venue. She was thrilled with her choice of Earth Treks Climbing. The kids (and some parents!) were able to climb the rock wall and still have time for a craft activity prepared by Monique.
Guests decorated their own water bottle bags from Oriental Trading. These were a perfect accompaniment to the aluminum water bottles, etched with the same designs from Monique’s printables.
Notice how Monique had her activity station organized in a portable tote with a printable label for easy identification. When you’re partying at an away-from-home location, being able to transport things easily is key!
Focusing on the colors of grey, turquoise, yellow and black, Monique designed a rock climbing lover’s dream snack table.
On a table topped with a black tablecloth, she added a vibrant pop of color with yellow climbing rope. This added great accent to not only the table, but also the candy baskets and table signs.
Speaking of signs, I love the “enjoy a climbing treat” sign. It adds a custom feel to the table.
Monique had the ingenious idea to line platters and wrap water bottles with wall paper samples to achieve the color and look she was going for.
Beautiful number 6 and “climb high” sugar cookies were baked by a family friend and made such a cute addition to the snack table.
Yellow popcorn boxes were dressed up with printable climbing themed labels Monique put together and filled with blue popcorn. Fresh cotton candy was delivered, customized with party labels and looked awesome in turquoise baskets.
The “climb so high you can touch the clouds” label was a great touch!
Ordered from their go-to cake baker, Cakes Plus, the two-tiered masterpiece depicted a rock climber reaching new heights on rock walls.
I couldn’t imagine a more fitting cake for a rock climbing boys birthday party. The custom name and age details really made it stand out.
Colorful balloons added a festive vibe to the party setup. I like how Monique anchored them to a container wrapped in rope and accented with a carabiner clip. Little details such as this definitely don’t go unnoticed!
Custom shirts worn by the birthday boy and his parents also provided an awesome detail and reminded guests to “Rock on”. What a fun keepsake post party too!
In addition to their water bottles and carriers, guests took home party favors that really rocked — literally! Monique purchased rocks and personalized each with the child’s name and “Rock on” in Sharpie paint pen.
To carry home all of their loot, Monique sent each party goer home with custom gift bags from Zazzle, filled with all sorts of rock related fun: rocks, Airheads, Rock Candy, flash light, compass, rock star stickers and more!
This party definitely rocked, way to go Monique! Follow Enchanted Expectations on Facebook.
