A pirate party makes a great theme for just about any celebration! Angelique, of Angy Design, styled this yellow and black pirate party as a promotion celebration for her kindergarten class. The fun ideas would work equally as well for a birthday party. Look closely at the simple, but effective, decoration elements and sweet cupcakes or you may find yourself in Davey Jones Locker!

I love that Angelique broke free from the traditional red and black color palette associated with pirates and tried something new. Her printable designs and color palette are fresh and unique; they pair interesting pirate inspired patterns and a cute monkey wearing a graduation cap. I like the font used on her banners and printables that gives an old world, pirate feel.

Scrumptious whoopie pies with printable skull and cross bone sails also looked amazing! Keeping with the promotion theme, darling diplomas were neatly displayed, made from chocolate rolls and yellow ribbon. I love the creativity! A cute pennant flag banner was an eye-catching accent against the yellow tablecloth.

To quench the thirst of little pirates, water bottles were lined up on the table, boasting attractive beverage wraps which coordinated with the pirate theme. Water from dressed up water bottles always tastes better!
