A Golden Safari Themed Baby Shower

Celebrating a new baby is always exciting, especially when a golden safari themed boy’s baby shower is planned for the mom-to-be!
Keeping the new mom’s love of white in mind, golden accents were used to create an elegant and stunning event with just enough sparkle.
You will love how they glammed up the safari theme throughout the baby shower’s decorations. Even the invitations, cake, sweet treats and party favors got the Midas touch.

The talented Carol Colon, of Partylicious, helped a friend pull off this gorgeous surprise shower — and no detail was left unattended.
Delicate invitations with a parade of gold-glittered safari animals set the tone for this beautiful celebration. You’ll notice these animals replicated throughout the shower.
A lovely dessert table was styled with simple, but tasteful décor and mouthwatering desserts made to coordinate with the white and gold color scheme.
A beautiful cake by The Cake Factory served as the obvious centerpiece and boasted a repeat of the invitation’s animal parade.
It is obvious that much thought was put into the dessert display as the chosen desserts were wonderful additions appropriate for adult palates. Sugar Bliss is the talent behind a majority of the desserts.
Beautiful lemon and pumpkin cheesecakes, chocolate truffles in darling dessert cups, turron (a Spanish hard candy), and various cookies and cupcakes were served on platters and dessert stands.
Fabulous sugar cookies that featured animal silhouettes and baby onesies, by Cookies by Suehery, rounded out the desserts to celebrate baby Carlos.
Don’t you love that dessert table backdrop? A collection of beautiful garlands and buntings made from a variety of materials, shapes, sizes and textures were paired for an absolutely stunning piece of art.
Beautiful floral arrangements complemented the party décor. Would you believe the vases were hand painted?
Golden animal figurines and toppers completed the look.
I love the delicate addition of sweet paper animals and how they were displayed around the party space.
As a small token of appreciation, guests were presented with treat-filled chevron favor bags, accented with darling safari themed printables.
