Want to hit a home run with your next baby shower? Keep your eyes on this baseball-themed baby shower by Karissa of Save the Date K & M Party Design. Designed for a little “all-star” to-be, Karissa hosted this shower for a dear friend. Not only did she make all the decorations for the baby shower, but she also photographed it too– talk about an all-star. This is such a cool baby shower theme. There are so many winning details not to be missed, including a dessert table with an unbelievable cake and a concession stand with some fun stadium party food ideas and decorations.

Karissa scored big with all of her DIY décor and genius favor ideas. From darling pennant banners to a diaper “autographing” station for all of those late-night diaper changes to clever hand-painted sunflower seed favor jars, the details are definitely a solid home run. We love that a vintage feel was created through the use of traditional baseball colors of red, white, and blue, rustic Coca-Cola crates, baseball paraphernalia carefully placed around the party space, and the custom bat with “the lil’ slugger-to-be’s” name engraved in.

A concession stand adds such a fun, theme-appropriate touch. Salads, sliders, and appetizers were served to help to keep the guests cheering. The sweets table was surely a hit with the party crowd. The delightful baseball cake centerpiece looks great, positioned underneath a handcrafted pennant banner. The shadowing Karissa did on the cake reminds us of a player who already slid in the dust — such a nice touch!

Cracker Jacks in vintage boxes, cookies, and chocolate-covered strawberries decorated to look like baseballs, were beautifully displayed on a color-coordinated striped tablecloth. The chocolate-covered pretzels stood in for baseball bats. Paper baseballs used as table scatter add a festive touch, too. Vintage-style Coca-Cola glasses were made even sweeter with the addition of “Luke” pennant flag straw toppers.

Decorations didn’t end at the obvious places. Karissa dressed up several areas with homemade baseball wreaths and burlap buntings. Even the beautiful floral arrangements with hydrangeas and carnations referenced baseballs. We love the use of textures and fabrics to reinforce the vintage vibe. Some fun baby shower games rounded out the event. We’d say Karissa knocked this baseball-themed baby shower out of the park.
