Back in May, my four year old son, Sam, started t-ball. While he has played soccer twice, t-ball was a new experience. Prior to his first practice he had never even seen a game! Mike and I wanted him to continue learning how to be a team player, as well as making new friends and learning a new sport. As he grows older, we want him to have courage to try something new.
A boy’s birthday party brings decisions, decisions! My Sam’s fifth birthday is fast approaching—how can my baby be FIVE already?! I’ve been listening to Sam and mulling over the decorations and my dessert table ideas. I’ve already ordered the cake and cake pops (more on that soon).

This morning, I came to the awful realization we were low on toilet paper in our house. This warranted a pit stop first thing this morning to rectify the issue. I was able to stop at Kmart and take advantage of their deal on SCOTT® products happening through Saturday, the 26th. Check out Kmart's Shop You Way Rewards for great coupon offers on Scott Tissue products this week!

Don’t you just love it when a boy's birthday party takes the birthday boy and his party guests to a whole new level of fun? Julie, of My Classic Party, “flew” her son, Luke, and his friends to a sky view birthday celebration with cakes, cupcakes and cookie favors—all while enjoying the comforts of home! Using a fresh take on airplane themed ideas, Julie crafted colorful decorations and a first class “lounge” to create flights of imagination.
A mom who wants to celebrate her boy’s first birthday is a motivated party planner! Although Marina is a busy mom and school teacher, she made time to create a sweet party for her Dominic’s first birthday. After deciding on airplane theme ideas, Marina did a little online shopping and went to a local store for party supplies so she could create her own handmade decorations and treats. The result? A sweet dessert table full of cupcakes, cake and good wishes for the birthday baby and guests.
It's so hard to think of awesome boys birthday party themes this time of year. Boys still want to celebrate their birthdays, even if it is getting close to Christmas! We have four December family celebrations—yikes! Whether you have a December birthday to make merry over or if you’re thinking of ideas for the future, here are some great themes I've gathered from my favorite sites this week to consider for your next boy birthday party. Some of my favorite boys birthday party themes this week include the winter wonderland theme, robots on parade, a football feature, pirates, planes, construction…and yeah, it’s a circus!
A boy’s plane themed birthday party can really make imaginations soar!
