One of the things I most enjoy about summer is being outside. Fresh air, sunshine and all of that green is grounding…rejuvenating. About this time of year I think I could become Nature Girl! Have you ever noticed that even food cooked outside seems to taste better? The grilling process adds an extra flavor to everything. We love to experiment with preparing all kinds of food on our grill. This week we grilled angel food cake—ever tried that? Yum! Check out my recipe below. If you don’t have a grill, Sears is having great offers on their Kenmore Elite Grills now (great Dad’s Day gift idea) through July 4th and I’ve agreed to share the news.

Grilled Angel Food Cake #ArtofGrilling

What we especially like about the Kenmore Elite Grills is how they deliver even heat on their larger cooking surface. The Kenmore brand is recognized as the most awarded brand in the industry. Their higher BTUs generate more power so everyone can eat at the same time—no more two by twos. As a hostess, I’m really glad not to make guests wait in line.

Another plus with the Kenmore Elite Grills is the variety of features they offer. There are rotisserie attachments, side burners and convenient storage shelves. Some models have lights for night grilling and you can even have a refrigerator in the grill! Mike is holding out for that feature. He’s been hinting we might need to upgrade—as soon as Father’s Day! I’m thinking we might have to wait on that. He’s more likely to receive one of the grilling accessories this year.
